About us
As a first timer we want to know more about the Pastor's heart for the church.After 15 years of being a Pastor of a traditional denomination,
Villard and his family moved to Brenham.
He had the dream of:
-being part of a church where he would want to attend even if he wasn't the pastor;
-teaching in a laid back setting where he could just sit on a bar stool and talk about Jesus
and the life changing truths of the Bible;
-doing this in an atmosphere where the people would feel loved and where he and others could
"do the stuff " that Jesus told us to do;
-a church with an atmosphere that would be informal yet where God would be worshiped.
Villard soon discovered that all of these were also values of the Vineyard.
